Bold Venture Guide

Editorial policy

Bold Venture Guide aims to make creative venture-making clearer without dressing opinion as fact. We distinguish explanation, interpretation and personal preference, and we correct material errors when they are brought to our attention.

Accuracy and clarity

We check names, definitions and factual statements against suitable sources before publication, and write so readers can tell when a passage is an example, an interpretation or an editorial view. Our subjects often involve judgement rather than a single right answer; where choices depend on context, we say so. We do not claim to have tested a method unless the article clearly describes that work.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are made for the publication and its readers. A partner does not receive a promise of favourable coverage or control over unrelated editorial material. Paid placements and sponsored contributions are identified clearly where they appear, so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial work.

Corrections and illustrations

If you spot a factual error or a confusing distinction, use the Contact page and describe the passage and the correction you believe is needed. We review the report and amend material when warranted. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where used, they are not presented as documentary photographs or evidence of a real person, place or event.

Our point of view

Distinctive work begins with a clear choice

A venture does not need to look bigger to feel more considered. We value clear ideas, deliberate details and room to learn as the work takes shape.
